ABOUT ABOUT

Love snacks and ice cream, and want to see the Philadelphia become a cleaner city?  Then join United by Blue for a cleanup of Cobbs Creek behind the Cobbs Creek Community Ed Center.

Pre-cleanup snacks will be provided by The Living Room Cafe and post-cleanup ice cream will be dished out by Little Baby's Ice Cream!

On the first Tuesday of every month we visit a Philadelphia waterway, working to fulfill our mission: for every item sold United by Blue removes a pound of trash from our world's oceans and waterways.

Cobbs Creek passes through 11 miles of Delaware and Philadelphia counties, and flows within the habitats of a variety of regional wildlife, including birds, raccoons, spotted deer and rabbits. It joins Darby Creek before flowing into the Delaware River.

Learn more about the cleanup by calling 215-278-7858 or emailing [email protected].
