Join United by Blue and REI Paramus for their first joint waterway cleanup! UBB has partnered with over 10 REI stores in the northeastern United States for a two week cleanup road trip. Help us celebrate World Ocean's Day (6/8) and National Trails Day (6/3) with a cleanup! We'll meet in a parking lot of the Riverside Square Mall. This natural oasis boasts excellent bird watching, but is often subject to wind-blown litter given it's proximity to busy roads and mall traffic.
United By Blue and REI will provide water, trash bags, supplies, and gloves as well as Clif Bars for volunteers. All volunteers will have the chance to win prizes during two cleanup games: weirdest trash find and total weight guess. All volunteers will also receive an exclusive Cleanup Crew trucker hat!

Directions
The mall driveway entrance is immediately after gasoline station’s second driveway, and it comes up very quickly. Look for Hackensack River County Park sign. Turn Right and follow signs for parking. Proceed to the lower level of the parking garage. Turn Right at the stop sign and proceed straight to the back of the parking garage. A green painted line between the double yellow lines leads to the parking area. Alternate entrance: If you miss the first entrance, continue to bear Right onto the Hackensack Avenue exit. There is an entrance to the mall to the Right on the ramp. Double back and proceed to the lower level of the parking garage and follow directions above.
