Enjoy a four course prix fixe dinner at our new flagship location in Old City while you learn about the history of Mardi Gras and it's connections to cultures around the world.
About the chef: Tess Connors is the assistant kitchen manager at UBB's Flagship location. She is a culinary professional with over 20 years experience in restaurants, hotels, cruise ships, and classrooms. Tess got her first taste of New Orleans as a cook on board the original paddlewheel steamboat Delta Queen, sailing the entire Mississippi River, bringing Louisiana favorites to all ports. She returned to New Orleans in 2012 to earn her master's degree at Tulane University (Go Green Wave!) and was the executive chef and lead instructor at Langlois Culinary Crossroads, a unique classroom kitchen dedicated to all things Cajun & Creole.
1st course: Cream of artichoke soup with parmesean crisp
2nd course: Grit cakes topped with green tomato jam and pickled green tomatos
3rd course: Blackened catfish over creole jambalaya
4th course: Bananas Foster bread pudding
