Join United By Blue, Waterstone Outdoors, and Hawks Nest State Park for their first ever joint waterway cleanup in Fayetteville, WV! This cleanup is one of 20 that United by Blue is co-hosting nationwide this summer, from June-August, to establish community partnerships between their specialty retailers, conservation or municipal partners, and volunteers.
For this cleanup, we are adventuring our way to our cleanup location! After grabbing supplies and water at our meeting spot, we will head out in groups for a short hike to our cleanup locations. With the beautiful Hawks Nest State Park and the New River as our background, we will spend a few hours making the trail and riverbanks look better than we found it! United By Blue will provide all cleanup supplies, drinking water/snacks, and giveaways. Please dress appropriately for a hike and outdoor work, including sturdy, close-toed shoes.
