Join United By Blue, the Palmyra Improvement Association, Riverton Improvement Association, and Pomeston Creek Watershed Association for a cleanup of the Delaware River along the Burlington County coastline!
We will clean the riverbanks of the Delaware roughly from Riverton Yacht Club to Eightmile Point, protecting this vital stretch of natural and recreational coastline. The Delaware is home to many species of bass, catfish, river mussels, migratory birds, and more. It also provides the backdrop for running trails, parks, boat launches, etc., making it a valuable resources for city-dwellers and wildlife alike. Help us support these community initiatives to keep the area clean and healthy by joining us at this cleanup!
This cleanup comes only a few weeks after a United By Blue cleanup directly across the Delaware River on the Philadelphia shoreline in the Frankford neighborhood. By working across county and state lines to tackle the trash on both sides of the river, we can see a significant impact in reducing the amount of pollution that flows further down the river!
United By Blue thanks Zipcar for its transportation support during the 2018 cleanup season.
