We’ve all seen the news of record high temperatures, wildfires, droughts, and coral bleaching, many of us without a solid understanding of why this is happening and how to stop it. In honor of Earth Day, on April 16th at United by Blue Flagship, PennEnvironment's Global Warming Solutions Associate, Kelly Flanigan, MPS, will help explain how climate change is affecting our lives.
Kelly Flanigan, MPS is dedicated to helping non-scientists learn and understand more about our climate systems. Prior to joining PennEnvironment, Kelly interned for the Office of Sustainability in Fort Lauderdale, assisting with public outreach for environmental and sustainability issues in the City. She is originally from the Philly suburbs and is excited to be back in Pennsylvania working to combat climate change and protect our natural resources. Kelly graduated from the University of Miami in 2016 with a degree in Meteorology and earned a Master of Professional Science degree in Climate and Society from the University of Miami in 2017.
