James Adam Taylor is a Northern California based photographer originally from South Jersey. His personal projects focus on explorations of Public Lands with the intention to highlight the efforts of individuals who devote their time and energy to caring for these wild places.
Taylor has hiked the entirety of the Appalachian Trail and has has spent several seasons working on Forest Service Lands in the Pacific Northwest as a Wilderness Ranger and on a Wilderness Trail Crew. By highlighting the work of Public Lands stewards he hopes to foster conversations that lead to a better understanding of Public Lands and conservation issues across the country.
Taylor will feature excerpts from essays shot in Northern California, Utah, Washington, and Virginia.
