ABOUT ABOUT

A Voodoo Doll. A Machete. Coconuts. A hot dog chew toy. 8 TVs. 15 Tires.

These are some of the strangest items that Subaru, United By Blue, and 110 volunteers removed from their 7, 248 pound trash haul from the Cooper River in Pennsauken, NJ, just around the corner from Subaru’s headquarters in 2012.

United By Blue and Subaru will provide a free breakfast and lunch, water, bags, supplies, and gloves for volunteers. Volunteers should park in the The Pub’s parking lot at 7600 Kaighns Ave and meet our cleanup crew along N Park Drive.

Last April, United By Blue and Subaru removed the weight of two Outbacks-- our official cleanup car--from the Cooper River. In 2013, let’s shoot for three cars’ worth.
