Join United by Blue and REI Marlton for their first joint waterway cleanup! UBB has partnered with over 10 REI stores in the northeastern United States for a two week cleanup road trip. Help us celebrate World Ocean's Day (6/8) and National Trails Day (6/3) with a cleanup of Black Run Preserve! Black Run Preserve and the Pinelands are home to some of the best hikes in New Jersey. Although the trails are relatively well maintained, litter and debris find their way into the area and waterway from busy nearby roads and heavy recreational use.
United By Blue and REI will provide water, trash bags, supplies, and gloves as well as Clif Bars for volunteers. All volunteers will have the chance to win prizes during two cleanup games: weirdest trash find and total weight guess. All volunteers will also receive an exclusive Cleanup Crew trucker hat! Groups of all sizes are welcome!
