Join Proof Lab and United By Blue for a cleanup of the Pacific Ocean at Baker Beach. Outlined by cliffs with views of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, Baker Beach is a symbol of San Francisco's juxtaposition of nature and the city. Historically, Baker Beach served as a Spanish military base known as the Presidio. Today, it is a part of Golden Gate National Recreation Area and administered by the National Park Service. Baker Beach serves as place of relaxation and adventure for hikers, surfers, beach bums and everyone in between! Please help us preserve Baker Beach!
United By Blue will provide water, trash bags, supplies, and gloves for all volunteers. Patagonia Provisions will supply snacks for volunteers at the cleanup.
All volunteers will have the chance to win prizes during two cleanup games: weirdest trash find and total weight guess. Groups of all sizes are welcome!
Please wear closed toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty or wet.
