ABOUT ABOUT

Although tiny, Penn Treaty Park is one of Philadelphia's most treasured green spaces. It sets the scene for families having picnics, fisherman along the Delaware, and dogs playing endless games of fetch. Along with its recreational significance, it's importance lies in history as the land where William Penn signed a peace treaty with the Lenape tribe in 1683.

Unfortunately, its heavy use has caused significant debris to build up along the park and collect in the rocky shoreline of the Delaware River. We have partnered with honeygrow, Philadelphia Water and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation to cleanup this beautiful space.

Volunteers will compete in friendly games throughout the evening, including a weird trash hunt and guessing the total weight of trash. Winners will receive UBB merchandise. honeygrow, a Philly start-up with a flair for creative cuisine, will serve a selection of their signature honeybars (honey and fruit-based treat).  All volunteers will also receive a 25% off token, redeemable at honeygrow’s Temple University location.
